Alaina Gibbs Humphries Grew up in Wilkinsburg, just east of Pittsburgh proper. She is the second born daughter of a beautifully decorated and amazing schoolteacher / education administrator as her mother; and a finance manager / former school board director and former local magistrate as her father. Based on a humble but educated upbringing, it’s no wonder our author embraces life-long learning, loves to write, and encourages educational opportunities for students to do their very best.

Alaina is a successful program manager working in Healthcare IT with a focus on Digital Health and driving Innovation to improve healthcare outcomes. Her background includes being a graphic design professional, owner of Design Blessings Creative. Proud graduate of the illustrious Hampton University Alaina also holds a master’s certification in IS/IT Project Management from Villanova’s Online School of Business.
